Dec 25, 2018

We cap off our holiday podcasts with a celebration of the Shane Black and his flare for including the holiday in his action-crime stories. We cover as much as possible about Black's career, from his debut as a screenwriter at 19 with Lethal Weapon, to his directorial debut with Kiss Kiss Bang Bang almost 30 years later. We talk about his very particular peculiarities as a writer, and the many special talents that separate him among the ranks of studio scribes. We naturally also discuss why he has the proclivity of placing his stories within the Christmas holiday, while not paying much attention to the actual holiday. It's a Christmas just as Black as we like it, and we hope you do too.
